The Institute of Education (IOE) at University College London (UCL) is offering international students from low- and middle-income countries, the IOE-ISH Centenary Doctoral Scholarships for studies commencing October 2023. This scholarship is given in partnership with the International Students House (ISH).

Campus-based PhD programmes offered by IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society are eligible for the Centenary Doctoral Scholarships. Please note that the EdD, DEdPsy and online programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.

The Centenary Doctoral Scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation in a single room (shared bathroom) at International Students House and an annual stipend of £7740 paid by monthly instalments.
The scholarship is tenable for up to 4 years, subject to satisfactory progress.
In order to apply for the Centenary Doctoral Scholarships, candidates should:
• Be domiciled in an eligible low or lower-middle income country according to the World Bank classification
• Have received an official unconditional offer letter to study a full time PhD degree at IOE (letter issued by UCL Admissions)
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have an unconditional offer to study a full time PhD degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education. Once you receive your unconditional offer letter, you can complete and submit an online application form. Deadline is 2 May 2023,23:55 (BST).
