1. University of Auckland 2023 International Student Excellence Scholarship

The scholarship is a Full-time enrolment in a Master’s or PGDip degree of 120 points or more, excluding masters by thesis or an undergraduate degree (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications) by new full fee paying International students from ASEAN countries.

 

If you eventually become a successful awardee, you get to receive a scholarship of up to $10,000 towards tuition fees. This scholarship is for new international students from ASEAN countries enrolling in undergraduate degrees, masters degrees or postgraduate diplomas.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

Be an international student from an ASEAN country.

 

Be either a new student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.

 

Be enrolled or enrolling full-time in either a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or Master’s degree of 120 points or more, excluding masters by thesis.

 

Be for an undergraduate degree (applying with overseas secondary or postsecondary qualifications) at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland.

 

Students who have already commenced study at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland at eligible. Students who have undertaken any tertiary level study in New Zealand, or students enrolling in a Business Master’s programme in the Graduate School of Management (GSM), are also eligible. Excluding the Master of Business Analytics and Master of Supply Chain Management.

 

Applicants must also have proof of English Language proficiency.

 

2. Auckland University of Technology (AUT) 2023 International Excellence Scholarships

Applications are now invited for the AUT International Excellence Scholarships awarded to international students with outstanding academic performances as a contribution to their tuition fees to study in New Zealand.

 

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and the Faculty of Culture and Society provide scholarships to recognize and support high achieving international students as they begin their journey in becoming great graduates of AUT.

 

There are 35 scholarships on offer and each scholarship consists of a $7,000 contribution towards fees.

 

Eligibility

Before you can be considered eligible for this scholarship, note that:

Applicants must be full fee-paying international students (Note: International students are students who are neither citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia).

 

Applicants must have a current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study in a Faculty of Culture and Society programme (undergraduate level or above, excluding doctoral and at least 120 points).

 

Applicants will be asked to provide their AUT Student ID in the box provided on the application form. 4. Scholarships are awarded on academic merit and quality of the applicant’s personal statement (no more than 200 words).

 

Applicants are required to declare if they have applied for other forms of scholarships both internally (i.e., awarded by AUT) and externally (e.g., government scholarships).

 

3. University of Otago 2022 Doctoral Scholarships for International Students

The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the University of Otago.

 

The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship provides funding to support doctoral students studying at the University of Otago.The Scholarship is available to both domestic and international students. Candidates for professional doctorates, as well as the PhD, are welcome to apply.

 

The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships will provide NZ$ 28,600 stipend per annum plus a domestic tuition fees waiver for 36 months (excludes student services fee and insurance).

 

Professional Doctorates (DClinDent, DMA, DBA, EDd)–NZ$28,600 stipend per annum plus a tuition fee waiver for up to 36 months capped at the domestic rate (excludes student services fee and insurance).

 

Eligibility

Eligibility for this scholarship isn’t much as it only requires that you are seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification and that you must have completed a Master’s degree by papers and thesis.
